Submit Dispute

This action is irreversible. Once submitted, is_response_editable is set to false and the dispute moves to under_review. You cannot update or resubmit evidence after this point. Save your evidence first via Update Dispute Evidence before calling this endpoint.

ISO 8601 timestamp when the evidence was successfully delivered. null if delivery failed.

Errors

Status	Error Code	Cause
`404`	`NOT_FOUND`	Dispute not found, or belongs to a different organization or environment.
`409`	`DISPUTE_NOT_EDITABLE`	The dispute has already been submitted and can no longer be submitted again.
`409`	`DISPUTE_NOT_EDITABLE`	The dispute is in a status that does not permit submission (e.g., already `won`, `lost`, or `closed`).
`410`	`DEADLINE_PASSED`	The response deadline has passed. Submission is no longer accepted.
`502`	`PROVIDER_ERROR`	Evidence could not be delivered to the payment network at this time. A failed submission attempt is recorded. Contact support if this persists.

A 502 response means the evidence delivery to the payment network failed. The dispute remains in its previous state and is_response_editable stays true, so you can safely attempt to submit again. We also notify our internal team when a submission fails so they can investigate.
